Hydropower is a formidable industry and is a sustainable source of renewable energy without having any environmental hazards like those of the hydrocarbon bases fuels. Our country is one of the richest in the world in terms of the total proportion of potential energy production from hydropower. With more than six thousand small, medium and large rivers running from the hydropower. Himalayas and high mountains of the country, hydropower can play a similar role in Nepal’s economy as petroleum plays in gulf countries. Involvement of private entrepreneurship is of utmost importance to reap full benefit of this natural gift to the country and thereby take country out of dependence on expensive fossil fuel for much of its energy supply.

Let me express my gratitude to all of the shareholders and stakeholders who have trusted and kindly supported us in our endeavor, helping to complete the Liping Khola Hydropower Project (16.26 MW), which is being promoted by Him River Power Limited in the Sindhupalchowk district of Nepal. We can make a new investment in hydropower projects in Nepal in the interim, I have a message to share with all interested national and international entrepreneurs and investors. That practically all of Nepal’s hydro projects are profitable is a statement I feel confident in making without going into too much detail. With an aim to play a significant role in the development of this high- potential hydropower sector in the country, identification potential location and evaluate the necessary strengths and resources to develop hydropower contributing independence of power in the country.

Finally, I’d like to extend an invitation to all domestic and foreign investors to work with us to find a solution to Nepal’s present electricity issue. I have no doubts that our endeavor will flourish, and our meager contribution will do much to advance our society and eventually the country. Please join us as we move forward together in our little endeavor!
